Nuplas Solutions is a 100% Malaysian-owned company driving the NuNet Project, launched in 2021 to create a sustainable circular economy for discarded fishing nets in Southeast Asia. The initiative transforms end-of-life nets into high-quality recycled Nylon 6 for the B2B market, reducing marine pollution while unlocking economic value. Through financial incentives, Nuplas supports fishing communities and promotes sustainable practices. With over 100 villages onboarded, 10 metric tonnes collected, and growing export demand, NuNet aims to scale regionally, protect marine ecosystems, and establish Malaysia as a leader in sustainable net recovery and ocean conservation.
